To coach Head of Development and team through the development process to re-write an 18 year-old legacy system that was no longer viable.
This represented a major application development, using modern technologies, for a successful application that had reached ‘end of life’ and was a significant undertaking for a team who had had the product in maintenance for their entire development careers.

The team had spent 12 months attempting to start the project but had made no visible progress. The project commenced within four weeks of our initial involvement.
