Issue Management
All project issues should be recorded, resourcing, application defects, feature requests, anything that may affect the success or timeliness of the project.
For each issue the following sorts of information should be held:
§ Description of the issue
§ Comments on the issue
§ Who raised it and to whom it has been assigned
§ The status of the issue, that is, in progress, being addressed, resolved. If the issue has been resolved, how and who resolved it.
A number of defect management tools are available on the market to assist in tracking and following up issues. Issue Logs should be reviewed on a regularly and frequently.
